Located in Christchurch New Zealand, Pacific Hovercraft is a rapidly growing international company with over 20 years experience in the hovercraft industry. Nigel Golding and Stephen Preest gave up their full time jobs in 1997 to produce a "State of the Art" recreational hovercraft that stood out and made people say "I Want One" and it's working!

The Slider, which is the most advanced light hovercraft in the world, took over three years to design and develop. They hold many design patents and copyrights. Deviating from current designs, the pair designed their own lift, propulsion and skirt systems, which resulted in an efficient and very quiet craft.

In addition to the 2 seat Slider and 4 seat Slider XL, they also designed
and produce the 12 passenger Explorer, the 25 passenger Odyssey and even a
40 ton hovercraft drilling platform.  With in-house development and manufacturing of skirts, hulls, propellers and lift fans, Pacific Hovercraft has a major cash and technical advantage over other hovercraft companies. Having the ability to custom tailor a craft for your particular requirements is their specialty, whether it be for sporting, commercial or industrial use.
