Craft Details
 |
This is a view of my SA-1100's cockpit. Note the
"fly by joystick" with trigger throttle control. |
 |
This is the standard color of an SA-1100 craft - white, teal and purple. This picture was taken on Rend Lake in southern
Illinois. |
 |
This is a fellow hovercrafter's custom teal, black and white SA-1100 craft. |
 |
This is a custom red, white and blue SA-1100, which also happens to be the first craft I rode in, owned by a sales representative near
Atlanta, GA. |
Ease Of Transportation
Getting your craft on to your trailer is a breeze,
even for just one person.
 |
Simply fly the craft out of the water using a boat ramp or
just over the ground (a great advantage over a boat) and then... |
 |
...fly it partially up on to the tilt trailer, get out w/
the engine idling (so it stays hovering) and crank the hand winch, pulling it up on to the trailer. VERY simple. |
Fun On Land
Fun In The Water
 |
A good transitional picture between land and water.
Shallow water is no problem for a hovercraft. |
 |
Here's a shot of me cruising around on Kentucky Lake. |

Fun In The Snow

Zipping around a nearby field in the snow. Winter fun
at it's best. |
